Responsibilities- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine checks like lubrication, wear measurements, and repositioning components. You’ll keep an ear out for unusual noises and vibrations to catch issues early.
- Emergency Repairs: Be ready to jump in and troubleshoot when urgent repairs are needed to keep production moving.
- Technical Skills: You’ll read blueprints, equipment manuals, and schematics, and use measurement tools for precise troubleshooting.
- Diverse Repairs: From electrical and mechanical to hydraulic and pneumatic systems, your day will involve a wide range of tasks.
- Boiler Operations: Help manage boiler systems to ensure reliable steam pressure for production.
- Workplace Organization: Keep your work area clean and organized, and ensure it’s spotless when the job’s done.
- Documentation: Record your maintenance activities accurately and efficiently.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues to keep downtime minimal.
- Team Collaboration: Keep leadership informed of any unusual situations and work as a team to keep things running smoothly.
- Skills Test: Able to pass a maintenance skills assessment.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 2-3 years in industrial maintenance.
