Location: Alvarado, TX

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. The successful candidate must be able to safely operate machinery like excavators, loaders, and bulldozers for construction and maintenance projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment (e.g., wheel loaders, excavators, forklifts).
• Diagnose and repair systems including brakes, engines, transmissions, and hydraulics.
• Use manufacturer software for troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections as per standards.
• Hold certifications in brake inspection, annual inspection, and A/C systems.
• Adhere to Safety, OSHA, and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Handle administrative tasks like using maintenance software, sourcing parts, and scheduling work.
• Coordinate with regional fleet specialists for purchase orders (POs).

What You’ll Need:

• At least 3-5 years of experience working as a Technician.
• Strong knowledge of trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Pay Range: USD $33.00 - USD $38.00 /Hr.
