Flex Security Officer

Overview:

Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for Flex Security Officers!

Must be AVAILABLE to work 1st or 2nd shift hours. You will work multiple sites as needed!

Available schedules are:

0600-1400 (Flex) Thu-Mon

1400-2200 (Flex) Sat-Wed

$19/hr.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience as a security officer, security guard, and/or other safety and protection related fields, including customer service roles.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Travel to multiple different sites (changes daily) as needed
• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
• Document and maintain logs of visitors
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
• Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
• Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
• Other duties to be determined by management

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be willing to travel to multiple sites as needed in Fort Worth, North Dallas and Plano areas!
• Lv. II Non-Commissioned License in Texas REQUIRED
• At least one (1) year of security experience REQUIRED
• Must have a clean driving record and a valid DL
• Monitoring and surveillance experience preferred
• Must be able to pass a criminal / vehicle background check

Skills:
