Information Security Engineer [Req # K6879]
Location: Austin, TX. Telecommuting permitted 100%.
Duties: Develop, deploy and execute controls and defenses to ensure the security and risk mitigation of company infrastructure technology, information systems and digital payment systems. Deploy and configure information security technologies and appliances.Act as primary escalation support and consultancy for information security issues. Prioritize missing patches, configuration changes and other guidelines to sufficiently address security vulnerabilities and harden the application/system. Monitor events, collate and analyze data to assess the environment for information security risk, policy violations, & unusual activity and perform root cause analysis.
Provide security review and consulting services for supporting business enablement projects. Provide responses Answer Information Security and IP Protection audit requests from customers, suppliers and government agencies on time with quality.
Consult and jointly engineering with stakeholders to enable security Controls are adhered on new solutions deployed. Oversee IT Security team to lead internal/external IT Security assessments and audits. Remediate identified issues and implement compensating controls.
Assist with information security administration processes and practices violation investigations. Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Telecommuting permitted 100%.
Requirements: Masters degree or foreign degree equivalent in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field, and 3 years of IT Security experience in the position offered or related capacity.
Demonstrate knowledge and/or experience in each of the following:
CrowdStrike Enterprise Detection and response; Vulnerability Assessment tools (Tenable and/or Qualys); Security Information and Evet Management (SIEM Tools: Qradar and/or Sentinel); Data leak Protection (Zscalar, Broadcom and/or Forcepoint); and eMail Forensic analysis (Mimecast).
Salary: $116,834-$157,725/yr
