Process Engineer

Responsibilities:
Job Purpose:
As a Process Engineer you will have the opportunity to assist in the development of process parameters and data used in establishing operating standards for manufacturing methods. You will drive testing and analysis to establish new practices and assist in optimizing processes and troubleshooting manufacturing problems as necessary.You will control procedures and documentation, all while being part of an ambitious team to ensure goals and deadlines are met.
Essential Functions:
Leads the process evaluation to help optimize product quality and productivity, directs planning and implementing new projects, maintains appropriate documentation for process, assumes responsibility for establishing effective communication, coordination, and working relationships with staff personnel, customers, and management.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical is required.Experience Required: Must be a US Citizen, no sponsorship available
- - Experience in Carbon/Graphite Processing and Characterization highly beneficial
- 5 years experience required
- Experience with Statistical Process Control and Continuous Improvement
- Certified in Quality Improvement techniques (Six Sigma DMAIC or 8D Practical Problem Solving)
Skills/Abilities:
- - Strong analytical, technical background and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- PC Literacy (Microsoft Office and Engineering/Quality Software)
- - Quality orientation and high attention to detail
- Experience working with high performance teams
- Problem analysis and problem resolution skills
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Word-Processing and Spreadsheet (Excel) software
- Must have good time management, planning, and negotiation skills
- This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)
- Individual must be a: Citizen of the United States, or Permanent resident alien of the United States, or Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) as defined by 22CFR120.15
- Responsible for creating, transmitting, storing, and destroying Controlled Unclassified Information/Technology per government regulation and company procedures
- Must adhere to the Morgan Technology Transfer Control Plan, government regulations, and company procedures
- Assist Export Compliance Manager in classifying new products, materials and processes
- Must not export controlled technology to a foreign national without approval from the Export Compliance Manager
- Having access to CUI (controlled unclassified information)
