Accounting Clerk - Dallas

We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role involves a range of duties centered around managing customer accounts and transactions. You will be working in the industry of accounting, with the opportunity for contract to hire employment.

• Conduct basic accounting functions with precision and attention to detail
• Handle the billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Deposit checks and apply them effectively to customer accounts
• Enter and code invoices with a high level of accuracy
• Code commissions and enter them into the appropriate system
• Utilize Excel functions to manage and organize data efficiently
• Use accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to process transactions and maintain records
• Carry out account reconciliation tasks to ensure all financial data is consistent
• Manage accounts payable and receivable to maintain healthy cash flow
• Perform data entry tasks, maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records. • Proficiency in account reconciliation
• Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Knowledge of billing procedures
• Skilled in data entry tasks
• Familiarity with invoice processing
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Oracle software
• Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software
• Familiarity with SAP software
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
• Relevant certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
• Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
