Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Correspond with suppliers concerning price changes, contract adjustments, terminations, item values, and schedule changes
- Work with higher level employees to develops timelines and conducts acquisition in compliance with procurement policy and contractual requirements
- Support in Proposal/Estimating activity by issuing Request for Quotation(s), Quotation Evaluation, and Priced Bill of Material computation
- Support request for proposal activities for new or existing customer opportunities
- Coordinate completion of annual supplier representations and certifications
- Assist in conducting analysis of the quality and performance of goods, supplies, equipment, and/or services; and in performing cost/benefit, life cycle costing and/or commodity standardization studies
- Participate in department improvement activities
- Support expediting of purchase orders
- Research contract history and related contract agreements
- Assist in identifying supplier performance requirements by reviewing the performance capability of suppliers and evaluating goods and services, and sourcing vendors for assigned commodities

- Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Business related studies or HS Diploma (or equivalent) with applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered.
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
- Pay Range: $56,017.00 - $68,648.00 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
