Sr. Project Manager/Project Manager
Job Description:
We're is a leading CRO focused on accelerating product development with high quality science, professionalism and innovation. Our integrated service offerings include: antibody discovery, recombinant protein production and purification, stable cell line development, protein analytics, cell based assays and in-vivo animal models.
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who will work with internal teams and customers to successfully complete projects on time, within budget and within scope and maintain successful relationships with customers and internal stake holders.This individual will work not only as a Project Manager but will also support the Sales and Marketing and Financial teams. This position will be responsible for providing feedback when project scopes are altered and working with the Scientific and Sales teams to modify the contracts and related financial obligations.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to balance scientific and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate communication with internal teams and customers. Specifically, this will include setting up regular meetings with customers and meetings with internal cross-functional groups if required. Take notes during all meetings to track discussion topics and action items.Track project deliverables and timelines. Work with Project Assistants on the shipping and receiving of project-related materials. Track project scope and report if an increase or decrease is required. If a modification is required, work with the customer and scientific and sales teams to prepare a modified workplan with appropriate financial milestones.
Continue to build relationships with repeat customers to be able to efficiently draft proposals and execute projects. Work with the Project Management and the Accounting team to track financial milestones. This will include monthly reporting on all deliverables.
In addition help build out processes to continuous develop Project Management as a function.
Qualifications:
Bachelors in a scientific discipline
PMP Certification desirable
3+ years of relevant industry experience
Knowledge in the scientific area that this PM will support our business. (ex: cell line development, cell-based assays, bioproduction, in vivo, hybridoma development, etc.)
