Job Description
The Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for the following:
- Qualify and approve potential suppliers and components through activities such as Potential Supplier Audits (PSA), business case evaluations, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Interim Recovery Worksheet (IRW), Process Audits (PA), and Program Reviews (PR).
- Support new program launches with Technical Reviews and Quality Risk Assessments (QRA).
- Manage supplier quality performance and resolve issues using Supplier Quality Plan (SQP) management, PIQ/PPM metrics, and other relevant tools.
- Address and resolve current product management (CPM) issues.
- Ensure proper use of nonconformity containment tools, such as CSL1/2/3 (Containment Shipping Levels), and implement corrective actions to ensure ongoing supplier compliance.
- Apply advanced problem-solving techniques at supplier sites, including 8D, Ishikawa, and Pareto diagrams.

The Successful Applicant
A successful quality engineer will have the following:
- Experience with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly
- Familiarity with Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
- Background in Supplier Quality
- At least 5 years of experience required
- Bachelor's degree needed
- Willingness to travel up to 40% (to Mexico and the US)
- Sponsorship is not available
- Base salary up to $125,000
- 10% bonus
