Excel Bookkeeper/Tax Associate

The Bookkeeper will also be involved in end-of-the-year preparation for tax filing, with an emphasis on S Corporations, C Corporations, and Non-Profits.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately maintain financial records and ensure data integrity
• Prepare tax reports for S Corporations, C Corporations, and Non-Profits
• Perform account reconciliation tasks and manage discrepancies
• Assist in preparing the year-end tax filing documentation
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Handle account payable and account receivable duties
• Perform month-end closing activities
• Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks
• Execute data entry tasks as required for the role
• Conduct bank reconciliation tasks on a regular basis
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a bookkeeping role
• Proficient in account reconciliation
• Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Skilled in performing bank reconciliations
• Strong background in bookkeeping
• Ability to efficiently handle data entry tasks
• Expertise in using Microsoft Excel
• Experience in managing month-end close processes
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software.
