This position is responsible for managing day-to-day onsite operations for individual construction projects from Pre-Construction through the Close-Out Phase. This includes but is not limited to, procuring, scheduling and directing of work crews, equipment, subcontractors and materials.Individual must be able to construct projects in accordance with construction designs, plans and specifications. Must have the ability to read design drawings and ensure that the project is being constructed in accordance within project guidelines, on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities:
Position may involve performing other duties as required, which may not be mentioned below. Specific duties may change from time to time.- Assume lead role on assigned projects/tasks from management including equipment maintenance and repair and cleaning, review and coding of vendor invoices, vendor scheduling.
- Provide daily equipment updates to the site team
- Monitor inventory and order shop supplies and parts for the equipment
- Review preventative maintenance schedule and coordinate with maintenance team and site team to ensure equipment maintenance is completed on time
- Review and approve vendor invoices for accuracy
- Provide daily reports on equipment to the owners
- Review daily equipment inspection forms for repairs
- Perform routine inspections on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed
- Become familiar with the jobsite (key locations, haul roads, etc.)
- Monitor all production equipment for operational performance. Work with management to improve performance
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing Charah safety standards and procedures, complying with, and enforcing, OSHA, MSHA, and DOT codes and regulations
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-years’ experience maintaining a shop environment in a construction or similar environment required
- Experience leading teams/projects required
- Experience operating in a production-focused environment preferred
- Knowledge of construction equipment, methods, and tools involved in maintaining and repairing equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Current OSHA 30
- Valid driver’s license required and reliable transportation
Work Environment & Conditions:
- This position requires a flexible work schedule that may include nights, weekends, holidays, and/or overtime
- Must be able to climb, maintain body equilibrium, reach, grasp, bend and walk/stand/sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to hear and see naturally or with correction
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Be subject to loud noises
- Be subject to atmospheric conditions - one or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin: fumes, odor, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation
- This position requires working in the internal and external environment
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to work under pressure with time constraints in a changing environment
- Ability to effectively communicate
