Job Description

Lead continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing lean manufacturing principles and other methodologies.
Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for plastic products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and refine processes, incorporating best practices and new technologies.
Monitor production data and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Provide technical support and training to production staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Analyze and troubleshoot process issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including safety and environmental guidelines.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering within the plastics industry.
Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and FDA regulations.
Strong knowledge of plastic materials, processing technologies, and quality control methods.
Proficiency in using process simulation and analysis tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and address complex process issues.
Proven track record of optimizing plastic manufacturing processes and improving production efficiency.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience with injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, or other plastic processing techniques is a plus
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a strong advantage

What's on Offer

Base salary $80,000 - $105,000, depending on experience
