Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical accounting guidance and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Assess and implement accounting needs for new initiatives and products.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls under the COSO framework.
• Prepare technical memos and update accounting policies.
• Oversee governance and process improvements for internal controls.
• Collaborate with auditors, regulators, and internal teams.
• Act as a subject matter expert in ASC 326 (CECL), ASC 842 (Leases), ASC 606 (Revenue), and more.
• Educate teams on accounting processes and best practices.
• 3+ years of financial services accounting experience.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Experience with complex analysis for large-scale, wide breadth accounting and internal control
• Strong knowledge of ASC standards, including CECL (326), Leases (842), Loans (310), Mortgage Servicing Rights (860), Revenue Recognition (606), Compensation (715), Derivatives & Hedging (815), Investments (320/321)
• Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel proficiency.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and collaborate across teams.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
