Java Software Engineer

Rate: $70 to $85 depending on qualifications and benefit selection

Have you worked with Java Development within a Linux System? Do you have experience with Cloud Technology?

• Software principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering (including software development lifecycle and software development process), design patterns, and Object Oriented architecture.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Demonstrate your critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas well.
• The ability to obtain and maintain SCI program access and complete polygraphs.

• Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Over 5 (five) years of experience in Java.
• AWS Cloud Technologies.
• DevSecOps toolsets (e.g. Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, Cucumber, etc.).
• Building automated tests.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Agile development methodologies.
• DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
