We are currently hiring for multiple positions in our After School Program for the 2024-25 school year at Cornwall Consolidated School in Cornwall, CT.
JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exemptPOSITIONS AVAILABLE: Substitutes, Group Teachers, Supervisors, Directors
PAY: $16.35 - $17 per hour (depending on role, qualifications, and experience)
The Before and After-School Program team is responsible for:
Leading hands-on activities in line with the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic activities, arts, and group projects, as well as assisting with homework.Ensuring a safe, healthy, and fun environment, while being a positive role model for the children.
Communicating regularly with parents and family members through the Playground App.
Adhering to state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school rules.
Some positions may include management duties, such as maintaining attendance records, handling registration, and staffing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Youre 18 years or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.While 1 year of experience working with children under 13 is preferred, we value potential and passion!
Be prepared to undergo a background check, including fingerprinting, references, and more.
Medical clearance from your doctor fit for all job duties and free from communicable diseases, including TB.
Youre warm, friendly, and enthusiastic, with excellent people skills for working with kids, parents, and coworkers. Youre reliable, professional, and always on time.
Able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and stay active with the kids!
