We are seeking a Tax Office Admin to join our CPA firm located in Mesa, Arizona, United States. The chosen candidate will oversee the front desk, providing crucial administrative support to our bustling tax office. This role is a short term contract employment opportunity, offering a unique experience in a detail-oriented setting with a focus on client service and administrative duties.
Responsibilities:- Handle incoming calls and manage client communication effectively
- Arrange appointments for existing clients, ensuring a seamless service experience
- Greet clients visiting the office, assisting them with their needs
- Undertake document management tasks such as copying, scanning, and filing
- Print and organize labels for efficient record keeping
- Compile tax packets upon completion, maintaining the firm's standard of accuracy and timeliness
- Aid in miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of the office. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a CPA or similar financial firm
- Proven ability in performing receptionist duties including handling incoming calls, managing correspondence and greeting clients
- Proficiency in using standard office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and tax preparation software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices would be an advantage
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Demonstrated customer service skills and detail oriented demeanor in all interactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
