Construction Superintendent - $450M Public Project in Holyoke

One of Boston's leading Commercial General Contractors is looking for a Super to lead a $450M project in Holyoke!

This is a Veterans Home project, estimated 4-5 years, however this is a long-term/perm hire

Very stable pipeline for years to come, 100+ years in business primarily serving Boston's Academic, Healthcare, & Lifescience sectors

Job Description

The Superintendent is responsible for:

• Managing an initial 4-5 year project in Holyoke, followed by assignments local to you
• Overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
• Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and other workers on the job site
• Ensuring that all work is done in compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other requirements
• Reviewing project plans and specifications to ensure that they are accurate and complete
• Working with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets
• Maintaining accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and reports
• Communicating regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Identifying and addressing issues and problems that arise during construction
• Ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Conducting site inspections and safety audits to ensure that the job site is safe and secure

The Successful Applicant

The right candidate will have:

• 10+ years of Superintendent experience in the commercial construction industry
• Large Ground up Multifamily or a similar ground-Up project background $20M+
• Procore, Bluebeam, CSL (Not mandatory), OSHA 30
• Commutable to Holyoke - local to Western MA / Springfield area
• Proven ability to independently manage projects and oversee operations effectively
• Highly adaptable, with excellent communication skills, and a desire to build a long-term career with a thriving, growth-focused firm
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, commitment to self-improvement, and personal growth
• Proficient with modern construction technology and tools
• Procore, Bluebeam, CSL (Not mandatory), OSHA 30
• Strong understanding of scheduling, & dedication to safety- willing to go the extra mile for the better of a project
