Responsibilities:

  • Provides beverages and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
  • Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
  • Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes, customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients, or substituted ingredients.
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed.
  • Delivers quality customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer.
  • Discovers and responds to customer needs.
  • Follows operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.
  • Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational methods.
  • Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
  • Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication.
  • Available to perform many different tasks during each shift.
  • Maintains high levels of sanitation of all equipment by adhering to department policies and procedures, Health Dept. codes and J.C.A.H.O. regulations.
  • Contributes to a positive working environment and promotes teamwork by taking initiative to improve overall quality and exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintains clear communication channels and constructive, sensitive relationships with coworkers, supervisors, patients, customers, parents and all hospital staff.

Qualifications:

Years of Experience: 6 months experience in a similar position
Language Skills: Proficient in English both verbally and written

Education Requirements: High school diploma/GED

Requirements:

  • Work occasionally requires contact with patients and/or visitors, which involves courtesy.
  • Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission.
  • Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team.
  • Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
  • Vaccination required for employment

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently lifts and carries objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Regularly stoops and bends.
  • Regularly reaches and grasps objects at, above and below shoulder level.
  • Regularly grasps and performs fine manipulation with hands.
  • Regularly proofreads and checks documents for accuracy.
  • Regularly inputs/retrieves words or data into or from an automated/computer system.
