Quality Inspector
A Quality Inspector in the Grand Rapids, MI area is needed for a multinational power management company. This position involves providing inspection support in a manufacturing environment, ensuring product compliance through blueprint reading and GD&T, conducting audits, and using software tools to maintain quality standards.

responsibilities:
- Provide inspection support for Receiving and Final Inspection processes.
- Inspect products according to blueprint requirements and current quality procedures.
- Assess product compliance through industry specifications, blueprint reading, and GD&T.
- Prepare and complete First Article Inspection Reports in compliance with AS9102 standards.
- Conduct Assembly Floor Layer Process Audits and 5S audits for safety and productivity.
- Support month-end efforts to meet customer demands.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience evaluating product compliance using industry specifications, blueprint reading, and GD&T.
- Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection.
Position Criteria:
- Experience with software packages like Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow product specifications, drawings, and work orders in English.
