System Administrator

RMC is hiring for a System Administrator who will provide support monitoring the performance of servers, software and hardware, diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, configuring internal systems and servers, managing the security and permissions of user accounts, creating and maintaining disaster recovery plans, and updating technical documentation and upgrading system components.
Requirements
The selected applicant will possess the following qualifications:
- Five (5) years’ experience in engineering systems administration with Windows server operating systems and services, including Active Directory, WINS, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs.
- Three (3) years’ experience with advanced VMware concepts, including vSphere Distributed Switch (vDS), Site Recovery Manager (SRM), vSphere Storage I/O Control (SIOC), VMware Network Virtualization and Security Platform (NSX), and Update Manager.
- Three (3) years’ experience with providing SCCM/SCOM administration support in a mixed and growing environment supporting Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2, Microsoft SQL 2012+, Windows 10+, VMWare 6.x. Experience with RHEL 7.x-8.x strongly preferred.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in working with PowerShell, Power CLI, and Windows batch scripting.
- Knowledge and comprehension of secure build techniques, tools and practices of DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG).
- Experience with disaster recovery and Continuity of Operations (COOP)
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
- High School Diploma or GED
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
- The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE, etc.).
- The selected applicant must obtain Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate within 60 days of start.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
- A DoD INTERIM SECRET security clearance is required to start.
- Applicant must have the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
- Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $90,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually.
