Job Description

The Ideal Director of Preconstruction will:

  • Lead a complete project cost evaluation
  • Develop detailed scopes of work
  • Understanding of differential pricing and when to use different unit costs
  • Ability to assemble and present a complete presentation
  • Ability to prepare detailed conceptual cost estimates and conceptual cost studies
  • Participate in client meetings and actively present and review estimates
  • Develop and build relationships with local subcontractor market

The Successful Applicant

The Ideal Director of Preconstruction will have:

  • Excellent computer and math skills
  • Must have bachelor's degree. Preferably in construction focus, but not required.
  • 12+ years of construction experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be comfortable working in a team environment
  • Must be comfortable working with deadlines
  • Must be able to manage working on several projects at the same time
  • Lives at or near Indianapolis, IN
