Bookkeeper

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper at our location in TUXEDO PARK, New York. This role is crucial for maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The Bookkeeper will work within our team to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.

• Accurately record accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
• Handle payroll activities, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time
• Perform account reconciliations, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up to date
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and analyze financial data
• Conduct month-end close procedures, preparing financial reports as needed
• Use QuickBooks for various bookkeeping activities
• Manage data entry tasks related to financial transactions
• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring all paperwork is filed correctly and kept up to date. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
• Strong Bookkeeping skills
• Capacity to handle high volume Data Entry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Knowledge of Payroll systems and processes
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
