Network Administrator

The Network Administrator will also be responsible for managing software and hardware components, troubleshooting errors, and integrating automation processes.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the reliable operation of computer systems and network servers through regular maintenance and configuration
• Install and upgrade computer components and software as needed to improve system performance
• Manage virtual servers and implement automation processes to enhance system efficiency
• Troubleshoot hardware and software errors using diagnostics, document problems and resolutions, prioritize issues, and assess their impact
• Utilize scripting and automation tools, including python and bash, to optimize system operations
• Administer systems and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, and other network-related fields
• Maintain a working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent to ensure smooth system operations
• Handle SQL clusters and Microsoft Exchange Administration
• Develop and implement IT strategy and plans to improve system operations and efficiency
• Implement helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
• Utilize Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Database, Dell Technologies, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Deployments skills as needed.
• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is essential for network configuration and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Citrix Technologies for virtualization and remote access solutions
• Familiarity with Database management and administration
• Experience with Dell Technologies, particularly in the context of network infrastructure
• Expertise in Active Directory for user and resource management
• Proficiency in Backup Technologies for data protection and recovery
• Good understanding of Computer Hardware for the maintenance and repair of network devices
• Skills in Configuration Management for maintaining network system controls
• Experience in Deployments for successful rollout of network changes and updates
• Knowledge of VMware for virtualization and cloud computing solutions
