Indianapolis - Secondary Marketing Risk Management Associate
SECONDARY MARKETING RISK MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATE*
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Responsible for the daily position reconciliations, ad hoc reporting, spreadsheet management, balance sheet risk metrics, and PPP within the Secondary Marketing infrastructure. Team player with ability to take direction from all levels of Bank management, as well as drive key initiatives and department strategy independently; to assist in tracking our internal/external risk metrics, including VaR, as set forth by the business/company.
What you will do- Pipeline and position reconciliations
- Works closely with traders, and risk managers to centralize assumptions with respect to pricing, trading, and hedging considerations for alignment to Secondary's policies, processes and procedures
- Engage with the team to help manage position, pricing and trading workbooks
- Participate in the reporting suite that is produced by the Secondary Marketing team(s)
- Primarily responsible for the adherence to the Secondary Marketing Risk Management Policy (Plan) and the associated VaR, as well as P&L thresholds
- Establish reports to communicate the positional and trading risk to various levels of Bank Management and risk stripes
- Involved in conversations with Market Risk as to current status or stages
- Back-up individuals within the LOB to perform necessary job functions and create procedures for variety of team members and Bank partners
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 8-12 years broad based residential mortgage origination, servicing, operations and underwriting competencies. Including but not limited to capital markets experience with investors/counterparties and business partners.
- Capital Markets, Secondary Marketing, Origination, Servicing, Product Guidelines and knowledge of secondary marketing investors/liquidity measures in a Loans Held for Sale/Investment multi best execution platform.
- Residential Mortgage within an OCC/FDIC/Federal Reserve/CFPB US Bank.

Starting base salary: $65,296.00 - $104,304.00 annually. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
