Responsibilities:
Job Summary:
This position schedules all patient visits, re-evaluations, simulations, treatment regimens and special procedures for the Oncology Service line. Avoiding conflicts and assuring communication of vital information to required parties is vital.Candidate must possess strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks that are time sensitive. Brown Cancer Center Patient Care Coordinator’s serves as our first line Customer Service Representatives. This individual is an effective communicator who promotes departmental growth, maintains a high level of confidentiality, while representing the organization professionally.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years’ prior experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Additional education may be substituted for experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oncology office experience
- Experience with electronic heath records, such as Cerner, Epic and Aria.
