Staking Engineer

Duties that intrigue you include:
- Designing and coordinating new, upgraded or relocated overhead and underground electric utility lines
- Investigating voltage issues, capacity concerns, distributed energy and service upgrades for Tipmont members
- Managing your own schedule as you guide and coordinate with internal and external crews, teams, contractors, members and builders to accomplish goals
- Creating construction documents
- Obtaining permits, easements and construction agreements
- Overseeing project progress to ensure schedules and budgets are met
- Communicating with members, construction crews and the public throughout projects
- Determining pole attachment requirements
- Representing the utility in communities we serve
- Serving on a team to address after-hours outages

Required Skills:
- Associate or technical degree in a related field
- Staking school or staking experience strongly preferred
- Proficient writing and verbal skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid drivers license
