The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for executing processes in production at a top Biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Round Lake, Illinois, while strictly adhering to cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines and any other related regulations that apply.
The incumbent will fully participate in both departmental projects and any quality working teams which may be applicable. Responsibilities include hands-on execution of all activities in the production area. Work is done under the general direction of the Lead technician and the overall direction of the Supervisor.

Responsibilities- Support manufacturing operations in Inspection and/or Packaging
- Inspect manufactured product for irregularities or defects
- Supplies components, small parts, glassware, tubing, etc. to cell culture and purification areas
- Operate general production equipment (such as labelers, parts washers, autoclave, stir plates, etc.)
- Complete relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines
- Manually cleans all portable equipment and small parts
- Participate on Continuous Improvement Teams
- Receive and distribute supplies into the production area
- Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain in GMP fashion
- Assist with troubleshooting process problems; review and revise documentation as required
- Follow cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines, and any other regulations
- Communicate issues related to safety, quality, compliance and equipment to the manufacturing lead operator and supervisor
