Sourcing Specialist V

The successful candidate will be preparing sourcing agreements, conducting simple negotiations, and making recommendations for supplier selection.

• Execution of sourcing processes in assigned areas
• Interaction with assigned operating business units and ISC personnel
• Analysis of responses to simple bid requests, highlighting commercial differences
• Making informed recommendations for supplier selection for contract awards
• Conducting simple negotiations and executing purchase orders
• Communicating progress and results to supervision and ISC management
• Conducting business dealings with the utmost integrity and regard for legal and environmental regulations
• Developing and maintaining relationships with business units and suppliers
• Conducting industry analysis and evaluating supplier performance
• Providing market data to support supplier selection, qualification and ongoing performance management. • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Strong planning and forecasting abilities, with a focus on ensuring progress and meeting business unit objectives.
• Proven experience in supervising teams, including staffing, onboarding, and performance management.
• Proficient in maintaining and executing purchase orders, expense accounts, and similar financial documents.
• Familiarity with engineering concepts, data analysis, and supply chain logistics.
• Excellent negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers and managing supply chain management.
• Experience in sourcing, including knowledge of commission functions and supplier selection.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to travel and perform onsite visits as required.
• Comprehensive understanding of "About Time" principles and their application in a business environment.
