About Our Client

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Superintendent to oversee our construction projects in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safety.

Job Description

Oversee daily operations of construction sites, ensuring work is completed according to plans, specifications, and schedules.
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, laborers, and other personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial efficiency and reporting any discrepancies to management.
Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain high construction standards and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Promote and enforce safety practices on-site, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, subcontractors, and company management, providing regular updates on project status.
Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly and effectively.
Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, reports, and photographs.

The Successful Applicant

The Construction Superintendent should have:

5+ years as a construction superintendent for a commercial general contractor
OSHA certification (preferred)
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Experience leading ground-up construction projects and managing a large team
