FULL DESCRIPTION: The selected candidate will be responsible for:
-Act as an Ambassador to patients, referring physicians and other callers/guests-Monitor and schedule patient appointments as required-Process Medical Records requests-Maintain accurate patient medical records-Chart preparation for clinic-Provide paperwork and gather data for new patients-Review insurance information and verify benefits-Room patient; take vitals and help take patient history for providers The selected candidate will also possess:
- HS diploma or equivalent required.
Associates Degree preferred-Graduate of accredited Medical Assisting program, National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-preferred-Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to read, write, speak and-understand English and Spanish clearly-Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills-Experience with an Electronic Medical Record-Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)-Working knowledge of insurance (PPO, HMO, Medi-Cal, IEHP) Salary Range: $20-$25/hr
