In this role as a Entry Level Fabrication Mechanic you will work closely with direct supervision to coordinate all activities required to effectively lay out work, set-up appropriate machines or equipment to meet or exceed fabrication and customer requirements per design specifications and published schedules.Efficiently utilizes resources to minimize scrap, materials, and labor.
Responsibilities:- Consistently meet and exceed deadlines for assigned tasks
- Efficiently produce parts that meet and exceed quality standards as determined by the Production Supervisor and/or Quality Inspector
- Train to perform set ups and operation of the below machinery properly and safely:
- Shear, Riveter, Drill Press, Strippit Punch Press, Roller, Disk Sander, Portable Power Tools, Band Saw, Table Saw, and Miter Saw, Hand Brake, Manual Brake Press, Mill and Lathe.
- Troubleshoot machine problems and perform preventative maintenance.
- May be moved and cross -trained on several pieces of equipment so as to develop a core understanding of manufacturing concepts.
