Business Analyst

We are offering a 3-4 month contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role is situated in the tech industry and will focus on leading the implementation of a new grants management software solution.
The Business Analyst will be expected to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and have a strong understanding of grants processes, business analysis techniques, and software implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with key stakeholders within the organization to gather their requirements and understand their needs related to grants management.
- Document detailed functional and non-functional requirements for the grants management software, including features, integrations, and reporting capabilities.
- Develop a comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) that outlines the organization's needs and expectations for the grants management software solution.
- Collaborate with finance to establish a budget for the software implementation and ongoing maintenance.
- Analyze the current grants processes and design new or improved workflows to optimize efficiency and compliance.
- Assist in the selection and implementation of a suitable grants management software solution, working closely with IT and vendors to ensure a smooth process.
- Plan and oversee the migration of existing grant data into the new system.
- Develop training materials and provide support to end-users as they adopt the new software.
- Establish reporting and analytics capabilities to track grant performance, compliance, and funding utilization.
