Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in the Wholesale Distribution industry, located in Ontario, California. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all customer applications are processed accurately, maintaining thorough customer credit records, and resolving any customer inquiries that arise.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
- Maintain detailed and correct customer credit records
- Handle and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner
- Closely monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed
- Perform account reconciliation tasks
- Conduct bank, balance sheet, cash, and credit card reconciliations
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reporting.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in account reconciliation
- Experience with bank reconciliations
- Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliation
- Experience with cash reconciliations
- Knowledge and experience in credit card reconciliation
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of wholesale distribution industry is a plus
