Our trusted Manufacturing client is seeking an Interim Plant Controller Consultant for a long-term engagement. This Plant Controller Consultant will be responsible for understanding manufacturing costs, performing reconciliations, and overseeing plant operations.
The individual in this role will also be a resource for complex financial analysis and will occasionally travel to other plant locations. This hybrid role is located in Ann Arbor Michigan and will report directly to the Sr. Director of Accounting.
The day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Understand and manage manufacturing costs
- Perform reconciliations using industry-standard tools
- Oversee plant operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Analyze receivables to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Act as a resource for complex financial analysis
- Travel to other plant locations as needed
- Conduct cost analysis as part of the financial management process
- Participate in budget processes and consolidations
- Uphold compliance with SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley regulations
- Use experience with LEAN manufacturing to improve processes and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
- Demonstrable proficiency in Budget Processes
- Experience in Plant Operation
- Proficient understanding of SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley regulations
- Prior experience in the Manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Cost Accounting
- Familiarity with Consolidations
- Ability to conduct Cost Analysis
- Experience in Complex Financial Analysis
