A Waste and Recycling company is looking to hire a hands on Maintenance Supervisor in Miami, Florida. This position would require supervision of a team of up to 11 Technicians in a hauling station environment. This would be a second shift position starting at 3pm and ending at 12am depending on how efficiently the shop is being run.
This positions would be responsible for providing direction and supervision to the shop staff. This would include supervising the daily work of the technicians as well as ensuring all safety protocols are followed to the letter. would also be in charge of scheduling, planning, and assigning work.
This is not a hands on position, but the supervisor would be expected to assist if needed to ensure the maximum efficiency of the shop.
The training of employees and assisting with engine diagnostics are both key responsibilities for this role.
