Robert Half - Attorney/Lawyer

Robert Half is seeking an Associate Attorney for a law firm in Aurora, Illinois. This job is in the legal industry and requires a professional who can handle all aspects of cases from negotiation to trial. The focus of this role will be on Workers Compensation and Personal Injury Law.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of each case from inception to conclusion, including settlement negotiations.
• Prepare legal documents such as motions and briefs in an accurate and timely manner.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
• Take cases to trial when necessary, ensuring all processes are followed and deadlines are met.
• Prioritize client communication, keeping them informed and involved in their case.
• Utilize skills in Civil Litigation and Workers Compensation to effectively manage and progress cases.
• Draft and file legal pleadings in line with court requirements and procedural rules.
• Handle court cases professionally, advocating for clients in a court of law.
• Develop a strong understanding of our clients' needs and objectives to represent them effectively.
• Must hold a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• The applicant must be an active member of the state bar.
• The applicant must demonstrate strong skills in civil litigation.
• Excellent client communication skills are required.
