Painter NCCER
Position Summary:
Acuren Inspection is now hiring hard working, dependable Painter to work on a project basis to start as soon as possible.
The Technician is responsible for carrying out duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner as assigned by the Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Have a comprehensive knowledge Painting/Blasting
- Assist other technicians as required
- Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
- Ensure operational safety of all equipment
Requirements:
- Knowledge of coating materials, application techniques, and curing processes
- Experience with paint and industrial equipment
- Experience using a wet paint gun, hand and power tools, and other painting equipment
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings
- The ability to read and use coating thickness gages, surface profile gages, dew point meters, soluble salt testers, and hardness or ultrasonic thickness gages
- Previous pipeline experience preferred
- NCCER Painter certification a plus
- NACE certification a plus

- Outside environment with continuous physical effort, exposure to 5-7 elements/conditions, moderate mental effort, and occasional requests for assistance.
- Willingness to travel and cover projects as needed
Physical Job Requirements & Demands:
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Ability to climb and work from ladders
