We are eager to welcome an IT Manager to our team, based in New Hyde Park, New York. The IT Manager will play a pivotal role in managing our technical infrastructure, supervising IT team members, and coordinating with other departments to ensure our IT services are running effectively and securely.

• Leading the IT team, providing guidance and support to network engineers, system administrators, and support staff
• Overseeing the performance and uptime of our IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and databases
• Implementing robust security measures such as firewalls and encryption protocols, performing regular security assessments, and responding promptly to security incidents
• Working closely with leadership to formulate and execute IT strategies that align with our objectives, including the recommendation and adoption of new technologies
• Effectively managing system integration, ensuring the successful implementation of new technologies or systems without disruption to ongoing operations
• Developing and managing the budget for the IT department, balancing performance and expenditure for optimal resource utilization
• Coordinating with external vendors for the acquisition of software, hardware, and IT services, managing contracts, and ensuring services are delivered as agreed
• Creating and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime during system failures or natural disasters
• Providing technical support to staff, resolving IT issues promptly and efficiently, and maintaining support documentation for end-users
• Guaranteeing compliance of all IT systems and operations with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining up-to-date documentation for IT systems, configurations, and processes
• Preparing regular reports for senior management on IT performance, projects, and any challenges encountered, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT operations. • Proven experience of 5 years or more in a similar role such as IT Manager.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure Management, ensuring the IT systems support the company's short and long-term needs.
• Strong skills in Vendor Management, allowing for efficient coordination and collaboration with third-party service providers.
• Expertise in IT Service Management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning, ensuring the organization can continue operation during unexpected events.
• Solid understanding of Network Security, protecting the company's data and network from threats.
• Proficiency in System Integration, ensuring all IT systems work efficiently together.
• Familiarity with Computer Hardware, capable of addressing technical issues and providing solutions.
