Towne & Locke is seeking an experienced IT Systems Analyst to join our client's growing team in Norwalk, CT(link removed) This position offers a very competitive salary plus bonus full insurance benefits, 401K, paid time off etc.

Our Client is actively looking to hire a Systems Analyst, within our IT department. This individual will be responsible for supporting Sage ERP and Dynamics CRM systems. They will work with end users to identify, design and implement functional improvements in support of core manufacturing operations.

Additional responsibilities include creating reports in Crystal and BI tools to provide actionable management information as requested. This position will require a significant amount of interaction with employees at all levels.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, analyze problems and deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in an environment of changing priorities.
  • Experience in developing web applications in a .Net environment.
  • Experience using BI tools.
  • Expert MS SQL Server skills.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5 years working experience with Sage ERP X3 system administration in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
  • Familiarity with Bill of Material, barcoding and warehouse systems preferred.
  • Extensive Microsoft SQL database and Business Intelligence experience.
  • Proven track record of providing successful solutions to user base.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with end-users to identify, design, and implement applications in support of core business operations; document applications features and provide cross-functional training as needed.
  • Provide technical and functional support for core manufacturing application, including system administration, problem resolution, security access and training.
  • Maintain liaison with business and technical staff and extended support organizations for resolution of application and database problems.
  • Develop training materials for end users.
  • Support Management with data analysis using BI tools.
