Junior Staff Accountant

We are currently seeking a driven and detail-oriented Junior Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. As a Junior Staff Accountant, your primary role will be assisting the senior accounting staff with various tasks, including preparing financial statements, auditing and verifying documents, setting up payment systems and managing invoices.

Responsibilities:

1. Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and audits.
2. Working with the accounts receivable and accounts payable departments to ensure financial transactions are handled and recorded correctly.
3. Setting up and maintaining financial files and record systems.
4. Assisting with budget preparation and management.
5. Performing account reconciliations regularly and resolving any discrepancies.
6. Facilitating and completing monthly close procedures.
7. Analyzing financial data and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
8. Assisting senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
9. Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
10. Assisting with tax preparations and returns.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
2. Up to 1-2 years of accounting experience.
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
4. Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
5. Attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
7. Strong understanding of the financial process and accounting principles.
8. Good verbal and written communication skills.
9. Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
