doing single server work Dont want someone that is strictly or only Architecture as they tend to be focused only at a very high level and become less hands-on Must be able to work with Hypervisors and VMware ESXi, etc. Need someone coming from a larger server environment Eastern has about 300-500 Servers active on average currently about 360+ and that is a good number to have come from for this background Much more than that and the environment tends to get very silo d with Engineers working on smaller pieces of the infrastructure Much less than that and they dont have the depth or complexity needed for the role Eastern has 5 domains Must be able to understand the structure of Active Directory in a Multi-Domain Enterprise-level environment Need to have built out these types of spaces; need to understand how the technology works; need to have used, managed tools, lived in this environment including break/fix, AD Forests, standing up domains; organizing the hierarchy of domains and then applying GPOs
