As previously mentioned, with the company's expansion, this role is anticipated to progress from a Site Quality Manager to a Corporate Quality Manager, responsible for overseeing the organization-wide Quality Management System (QMS).
Job Description- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve product/service quality and operational efficiency.
- Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and present quality control reports and metrics to senior management.
- Managing the daily activity of quality staff including lead persons, auditors, label personnel and clerical positions.
- Maintain SPC (statistical process control) as a working tool in the plant
- Identify, measure and maintain key customer satisfaction measurements (OTIF, DI, Response time)
- Ensure that all federal and local UN, DOT, EPA and FDA regulations are being conformed to and that reporting is being kept up to date.
- Assist the plant manager with any issues regarding quality investigation or quality reporting
- Develop and implement the ISO conforming quality and documentation system.

The Successful Applicant- 3-10 years of quality experience
- Strong background in packaging or a similar field
- BRC packaging and packaging material implementation experience is a plus
- Background in measuring process using SPC
- Lead auditor certification in the BRC standards OR strong audit experience
- Experience in cost reduction, production efficiency improvements and continuous improvement activities
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance of Food Product Safety and meet the expectations of our customers.
- Salary up to $95k depending on experience and interviews
- 4 weeks of PTO
- 5% bonus based on company/plant performance
