Tax Manager - Public - Robert Half

We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our team in Melville, New York. This role functions within the public accounting industry and will involve the utilization of various accounting software systems. The role focuses on managing tax-related activities and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the implementation of accounting software systems.
• Utilize ADP for financial services and manage related tasks.
• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of annual income tax provisions.
• Conduct regular auditing to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
• Manage the use of CaseWare and CCH ProSystem Fx for various accounting functions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Handle entity formation tasks and procedures using CCH Sales Tax.
• Resolve any tax-related issues or inquiries from customers promptly.
• Regularly review and update accounting functions and procedures for efficiency.
• Coordinate and manage the team's activities to ensure all deadlines are met. • Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or in the field of taxation.
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential.
• Knowledge of CaseWare is compulsory for this role.
• Familiarity with CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax is a must.
• Must possess a comprehensive understanding of accounting functions.
• Experience in preparing Annual Income Tax Provision is required.
• Auditing skills are essential for this role.
• The candidate must have a strong understanding of compliance procedures.
• Experience in Entity Formation is required.
