Engineering Systems Coordinator
Overview:
The engineering team relies on systems to track and manage project details and resource time, prioritize needs, and provide efficiency for daily work. The Engineering Systems Coordinator will work with the Engineering Systems Specialist to ensure these systems and programs operate effectively to support those business needs and handling engineering administrative responsibilities, which provide support to engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Support, troubleshoot, and maintain engineering systems, including licensing needs.
- Monitor engineering systems, under the guidance of the Engineering Systems Specialist, to ensure they meet the needs of the organization.
- Develop process documents and training for users of engineering systems.
- Develop process flow maps.
- Develop new and improve current digital systems within engineering business unit.
- Provide file management of engineering drawings and designs, including investigating and correcting broken links.
- Coordinate projects with suppliers for data entry and print services.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate’s degree in business management, computer science or related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of previous experience.
- Digital system administration experience, a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
- Good working knowledge of PC applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Experience in Windchill, Creo, ProE, Monday.com, Power BI, Access a plus
- Hands on contributor with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and forward thinking.
- Strong business analytic skills with understanding for gathering, compiling, and organizing data.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently under minimal direction.
