Job Description:

What You’ll Be Doing:

We are seeking a dynamic Principal Product Manager to lead and expand our Smart Thermostat, Controls and Zoning Products portfolio. This is a high-impact role responsible for setting and executing a vision for products that align with our brand, meet customer needs, and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the product roadmap and vision for Lennox’s thermostat, controls and zoning categories, focusing on innovation, customer value, and strategic positioning in the market.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in product ideation, development, and launch, influencing stakeholders across engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to achieve aligned goals.
  • Data-Driven Insights & Analytics: Utilize data and market insights to identify customer needs, anticipate market trends, and make informed decisions, continually refining the customer experience.
  • New Product Initiatives (NPI): Oversee the entire NPI lifecycle for products, collaborating closely with R&D, sales, and customer service to ensure successful rollouts.
  • Competitive Analysis & Market Understanding: Conduct comprehensive analysis of competitors and emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge and influence product direction.
  • Product Performance Optimization: Monitor sales, production, and inventory trends, influencing pricing strategies, profitability, and efficiencies to enhance product margins.
  • Customer Engagement & Storytelling: Deliver compelling narratives around the value and impact of our products to engage internal teams and drive external marketing efforts.

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $124,800 - $163,00 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education. In addition, you will have the opportunity 15% annual bonus.

Qualifications:

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in product management, preferably with complex products or digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in product lifecycle management, branding, and customer insights, with an emphasis on IoT or connected home technology.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to leverage data insights and market analysis to influence product direction.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a talent for storytelling to influence cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and presentation skills, capable of distilling complex data into actionable plans.
  • Cross-functional leadership abilities to drive alignment, engage stakeholders, and achieve ambitious goals.
