We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Operations Specialist in Chicago, Illinois. This role primarily involves providing comprehensive administrative support, managing various tasks for the Regional Director and different departments, and occasionally engaging with high-level donors.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate effective communication with high-level donors and manage corresponding data
• Provide administrative support encompassing various departments and the Regional Director
• Organize and execute event planning tasks, including material preparation, packing, and donor registration
• Carry out general office duties such as handling mail, meal ordering, and setting up and troubleshooting virtual meetings
• Utilize CRM tools, specifically Salesforce, for mass email systems and report generation
• Display adaptability by learning and growing with the team and assisting in report navigation and operation
• Manage travel arrangements when necessary
• Aid in miscellaneous tasks as they arise. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operations role or similar
• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
• Demonstrated experience in data processing and auditing
• Familiarity with check processing procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Understanding of compliance regulations and best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, especially Microsoft Excel
• Experience using communication tools such as Slack
• Experience in Salesforce administration is a plus
• Comfortable communicating with donors, with experience in donor database management
