Part Time Tax Preparer

Responsibilities:

• Accurately using Drake Tax Software to prepare and process tax returns
• Efficiently maintain and manage client tax records
• Conduct data entry tasks related to tax returns and deductions
• Ensure accuracy of all entered data and processed tax returns
• Handle customer inquiries and provide effective resolutions
• Monitor client accounts and provide necessary updates
• Stay abreast with the latest changes in tax regulations and laws.
• Experience with Drake Tax Software
• Proven ability in data entry tasks
• Knowledge of tax deductibles and their application
• Familiarity with current tax laws and regulations
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
• Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
• A degree in accounting or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience in a tax preparer role is advantageous
