Code number: J000014162 Entry level: Internship Location: Atlanta Organization: Porsche Cars North America Tasks Tasks Tasks Roles & responsibilities Create purchase orders, generate, and execute contractual agreements ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Maintain training on the workflow process and coordinate with all supported departments. Update vendor audit files and the contracts database regularly. Proactively notify business owners of impending contract expirations. Ensure prior approvals from Finance, Accounting, Executive Management, and supporting departments.
Support and advocate for strategic and tactical process improvement activities and initiatives within the Center of Excellence (CoE). Qualifications Qualifications Qualifications Qualifications Preferred qualifications include: Recent graduate or juniors/seniors currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Interest in procurement – purchasing. Previous experience in a corporate environment is a plus Preferred skills include: Strong communication (oral and written), relationship management, and consultative selling skills.
Self-motivated with advanced problem-solving skills Ability to engage and communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, including Executive Management. Strong PC literacy, including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) is required Demonstrated experience in cross-functional projects and team collaboration.
Exposure to commercial contract terms and conditions in a corporate setting. Flexibility and adaptability to meet immediate business area needs and timelines. Physical requirements Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
