Overview:

DNI is seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Subject Matter Expert candidate to

support the U.S. Air Force (USAF) at Langley AFB (Ryan Center) in Hampton, VA.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight and management of the unit quality assurance process.
  • Ensure compliance to industry quality and safety standards.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee product inspection and testing for quality and conformance to
specifications and deliverables.
  • Provide training and support to quality assurance team members that covers AOC
Weapon Systems, policies, procedures, and core processes.
  • Develop and coordinate evaluation/management internal checklist tool (MICT) plans.
  • Monitor risk-management procedures, maintain problem logs, and report issues to
Weapon System Manager (WSM) and Special Program Office (SPO).
  • Implement processes to collect, analyze, and integrate requirements to improve support
of the AOC Weapon System and unit effectiveness.
  • Maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking
systems, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Develop short and long-term solutions and analyze trends to determine if systemic
deficiencies exist.
  • Create quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses, identifying critical control
points and preventive measures.
  • Assist operations by tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels as well as,

environmental, and health and safety Key Performance Indicators.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience as a Quality Assurance specialist or Professional certification such
as Six Sigma, CQE or CQA
  • Knowledge of quality assurance measuring and testing equipment
  • Experience within a USAF Falconer AOC is preferred over joint experience.
  • Highly desired: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience or 7 years of

experience without bachelor’s degree in a USAF AOC, or joint partner equivalent

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:

  • This position requires US citizenship and current SECRET Security Clearance.
  • Must possess CompTIA Security + certification.
  • This position requires ability to travel as required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on

task.

EQUIPMENT and MACHINES:

  • Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.), and/or other industry-specific

equipment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work may involve sitting for extended periods. May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of manufacturing and military sites or facilities

where necessary
