Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC lathes according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders to determine machine settings and part dimensions.
- Perform programming adjustments to ensure parts meet required tolerances and specifications.
- Select, install, and align tooling, fixtures, and workpieces.
- Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain production efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
